grIP Founder Jed Weiner and grIP Pitch Night Director Christine Li-AuYeung Co-Lead Session on Entrepreneurship at Oxford University Global Alumni Meeting

grIP founder Jed Weiner and grIP Pitch Night Director Christine Li-AuYeung co-led the session “The Oxford Experience and Entrepreneurship” at the Oxford global alumni meeting Meeting of the Minds on April 14, 2021. Jed and Christine joined Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Development and External Affairs and Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship David Gann and other Oxford alumni who spoke about how their Oxford experiences have shaped their entrepreneurial journeys. The event also covered the Oxford startup ecosystem today and how it is evolving, and how alumni may leverage the Oxonian community to build their businesses. One important resource that was highlighted was the Oxford Entrepreneurs Network, an Oxonian alumni support network for entrepreneurs. grIP team members Sameer Jagetia and Chris Oates also helped organize the session. The grIP team includes nine Oxford University alumni.

grIP Pitch Night Director Christine Li-AuYeung is currently an independent COO & FinTech advisor at AdvisoryCloud, and an executive board member of the Oxford Entrepreneurs Network. Christine was most recently COO of Elevoro, where she directed daily global operations for a startup management consultancy focused on innovations in FinTech. Previously, Christine was senior vice president of strategic initiatives and product management at StoneCastle Partners, LLC, a New York-based fintech firm specializing in the community banking sector. Christine also worked in the Risk Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and the Global Credit Risk Management division at JPMorgan Chase.
