Larry Sandell and P. Andrew Riley give a Presentation on Intellectual Property

grIP Team Member and IP lawyer Larry Sandell and his Mei & Mark colleague P. Andrew Riley gave a presentation at the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum Cornerstones Series titled “Strategic & Technical Intellectual Property Issues” on December 16, 2020.

Larry and Andrew discussed intellectual property strategy, procurement, and enforcement. The presentation covered both strategic and technical issues geared towards emerging companies, VCs and other prospective investors.

Larry Sandell is a patent attorney at Mei & Mark LLP where he focuses his practice on strategic intellectual property matters, drafting and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, litigating patent infringement and other matters in federal district courts and the International Trade Commission, and arguing federal appeals. Larry routinely advises start-ups and other innovative companies on intellectual property matters. P. Andrew Riley leads Mei & Mark’s brilliant litigation team where they focus on complex disputes before U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) (Section 337 Investigations), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Riley has served as lead counsel in jury trials in state and federal court and has experience litigating in the most popular patent venues, including the Eastern District of Texas, the Northern and Central Districts of California, and the District of Delaware.
