Emanuele is a physician-scientist with expertise and experience in the medtech and biotech vertical. After graduation from the University of Catania, Italy (’19), Emanuele joined Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, the US, where he pursued a Ph.D. in medical microbiology and infection prevention. He has attended multiple leading institutions in Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Public and private institutions have funded his research for over $1,200,000 through awards and grants that resulted in over 80 peer-reviewed publications, multiple book chapters, and many conference presentations.
In addition to his research work, Emanuele joined Parvizi Surgical Innovation (PSI), a small-cap venture creation firm, as Chief Medical Officer, where he engages in company creation and investment in the life sciences. He is the co-founder of three companies he has contributed to building for the past three years. Emanuele is also the Founder and CEO of Medical Students Research Academy (MSRA), a boutique consulting company that provides high-specialization medical researcher support for science outreach, scientific literacy, and training to industry partners.
