Peter Dolch Angel Investing Presentation

grIP Senior Advisor Peter Dolch gave a presentation for the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum Cornerstones Series titled “Angels Investors & Entrepreneurs: Key Issues for Each Side of the Table” on November 9, 2020. Peter was joined by fellow presenter Jeremy Bauman, Managing Partner of New Dominion Angels and member of the Early Stage Finance Team at the World Bank.

Peter and Jeremy gave a brief overview of how angel investing works. On the entrepreneurs side, they discussed key strategies for obtaining angel investments and developing positive relationships with angel investors. On the investor side, they highlighted what investors commonly look for when investing in startups and how angels can improve their odds of having successful outcomes.

Peter is a senior advisor to Mei & Mark’s venture capital and emerging companies platform — grIP — dedicated to putting emerging startups on a firm footing for future growth, a founder of several successful startups, a startup advisor and an angel investor. He co-founded a twice-ranked on the Inc. 500 technology consulting firm, a Swiss-based med-tech firm (winner of Gold at Mass Challenge) and runs AEON Foundry, and early stage advisory firm. Peter is a member of both the New York Angels and MIT Alumni Angels, and he has more than 25 years of experience in both enterprise technology and in launching and guiding technology-based startups across the worlds of Media & Entertainment, Fintech, Medtech, eCommerce, Social Media, and more.
