Michael Lewittes Interview Covering SEO Strategy

In September, grIP’s Media and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) expert Michael Lewittes sat down with journalist Barry Schwartz to talk about Michael’s SEO strategies in addition to Michael’s career in journalism and venture capital. Specifically, Michael discusses what Google calls E.A.T. (Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness), and why it should permeate every aspect of one’s website. Click the buttons below to see the interview.

In the interview, in addition to E.A.T., Michael discusses how his old online media business got knocked down by a Google algorithm update and how he got it back up by learning everything he could about SEO to position his company for growth and success.

Interviewer Barry Schwartz is founder and editor of Search Engine Roundtable, the must-read site for anyone who works in SEO, and he’s a contributing editor at Search Engine Land, which was founded by Danny Sullivan, now the Search Liaison for Google. And if Barry’s credentials weren’t impressive enough, he’s also the CEO and president of RustyBrick, a highly successful web development and consulting firm in New York.
